Iclos Biotechnology has a vertical integration model that covers all stages of production, from cell engineering and culture to the production of active ingredients and the manufacture of finished products.

Iclos Biotechnology objective is to develop and produce biosimilar drugs that guarantee optimal quality at affordable prices.

Our Biosimilar Research and Development Center is located in the province of Santa Fe (Argentina). In addition, we have scale-up and production units in Buenos Aires and Santa Fe. Finished products are ultimately prepared at Iclos’ plant in Uruguay.

Our chemical synthesis drugs are made at Iclos’ pharmaceutical plant in Uruguay, designed considering the protection of products as well as care for the environment and operators.

Iclo’s plant in Uruguay develops segregated solids, immunosuppressants, antiproliferative agents and oncological products. Our facilities are separated in order to protect the environment, with production areas with negative air pressure and pressurized airlocks.

We carry out first and second grade packaging tasks, including blister packaging, labeling, coding, staking, warehousing and storage of semi-finished and finished products.
